This has been done as the make target has been renamed in the same
way, while a new target named params has been added. This new
target generates a file containing all the parameters, instead of
printing it on the console.

When compiling with -O3 gcc seems to be a lot stricter on its checks for
index out of bounds error.

mtree is only used for cross compilation at this point. Also, the
required patches to make it compile on Minix cripple it probably
enough to make it unusable anyway.
